Year 3 visited The British Museum

I think the Rosetta Stone was amazing. It was so old and it was right in front of me!

Anouschka
British Museum

I found it interesting learning about hieroglyphics. It was a confusing way to write.

Amelia
British Museum

I liked the mummified cats. Cats were very important to the Egyptians.

Francesca
British Museum

I was scared of the wrapped up mummies but I was also amazed! I’ll never forget this trip.

Caitlin
British Museum
I enjoyed seeing the bronze mirrors the Egyptians used to put on their eye make up. Ysabelle
British Museum
Our trip to The British Museum was most exciting. I enjoyed looking at all the things, I especially enjoyed the ancient flip-flops! Hannah
British Museum

My group and I saw some Canopic jars. The Egyptians put the organs of a mummy inside these jars and placed them into the tomb with the mummy.

Leah

British Museum

I loved The British Museum because they have kept the statues of the Egyptians for so many years.
