Inspection Report

The School’s last Regulatory Compliance Inspection by the ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate) was in December 2017.

The Regulatory Compliance Inspection examined whether we comply with the extensive regulations and requirements covering pupil wellbeing, health and safety, recruitment, safeguarding and governance, amongst others. The School met all the standards required, with no recommendations for action.

A copy of the full report, which confirms that we have met all the requirements, is available here.

ISI Regulatory Compliance Inspection Report December 2017

In our latest full ISI inspection (October 2013) – examining the overall educational offer of the School – we achieved the highest possible grades in all areas. The ISI inspects schools under eight headings: seven of these areas have a possible rating of ‘excellent’ ‘good’ ‘sound’ or ‘unsatisfactory’ and we are delighted that in each of these categories the school was judged as ‘excellent’.  In the area of ‘Achievement’ there is also an extra category available for schools where exceptional achievement has been noted and we are very proud indeed to have achieved that ‘exceptional’ grade for achievement in our inspection.

We are extremely proud of the girls and staff and of this glowing report on life at NHEHS. We think the ten-strong inspection team really got under the skin of NHEHS and understood the ethos and atmosphere of this amazing school.
