Who are we?
The Old Girls' Association (OGA) is an active community of former NHEHS pupils of all ages. The Association aims to help keep former pupils in touch with each other and with the school.
Newsletter
Members receive a newsletter packed with news about the school and other former pupils.
Read the most recent edition of the Newsletter.
Members are also invited to attend meetings of the Association which take place twice a year.
The annual tea party
The Association arranges a popular annual tea party at the school on a Saturday afternoon in September each year. The next one will take place on Saturday, 11 September 1010. Year groups who left the school 10,20,30,40, etc years before are particularly encouraged to attend, but any former pupil is also welcome. A delicious tea is served, and sixth formers are on hand to give guided tours of the school.
The cost of membership
The cost of joining the OGA is kept as low as possible, and is currently £60 for life membership, which is the most cost-efficient way of becoming involved. You can also join for one year or five. Leavers are encouraged to join, as membership is the easiest way of remaining in touch with their peers. Former students can join at any time. There is a small charge for the tea, which is open to former pupils whether or not they have joined the Association.
The work of the Association is entirely school-related, and is thus complementary to that of the Minerva Network, the Trust-wide club which helps former sixth formers from Trust schools to develop personal networks. The mentors and connections developed through the Minerva Network can be an invaluable source of support throughout a woman's higher education and professional career. |

This clock was kindly given to the school by the OGA in November 2003 on the school's 130th birthday.
