Our U14, U16 and U19 teams have been in action in the National Schools Middlesex County Tournament. All teams did the school proud, with the U19s and U16s winning many of their games. However, we are delighted to report that the U14 team were crowded champions and have now progressed through to the Regional Finals in Kent on the 28th January! This is a truly outstanding achievement for the girls. Their performance on the day was exceptional and they fought off tough opposition in their pool (St Paul’s Girls’ School, Fortesmere, The Heathland School, NLCS and CLGS) and then beat LEH convincingly 14-6 to go through.

At the annual Tournament organised by Highgate School both our U12 and U13 teams won all four games in their pool to progress into the semi-finals. The semi-finals were close games, with the U13s losing by one goal and the U12s losing by two. Both teams then went onto in their respective playoffs for third place. Two convincing wins v Highgate (for the U13s) and St Albans Girls’ School (for the U12s) allowed both teams to gain third place and a Bronze medal!

Finally, in the third round of Independent Schools Cup Game the U15s went up against a strong team from Alleyn’s School. In an incredible game, in which both teams played at the highest of levels, they eventually lost 45-56 but are to be congratulated on a great performance.
