Sixth Form Life
Life in the sixth form is quite different from life “at school”. You enjoy the freedom to come and go between classes and there’s no school uniform. Classes are small and you will share a genuine passion for your subjects with your teachers, meaning that the atmosphere in class is informal and friendly.
You’ll be based in the Sixth Form Centre which stands on its own part of the school site. There are seminar rooms, a large, comfortable common room, sunny outside terrace, cafe and multi-gym all providing you with somewhere to wind-down, grab a coffee or snack, check your emails, read a newspaper or work.
There are so many opportunities to define yourself via something other than your subject choices
Classes in some subjects takes place in the Sixth Form Centre but much specialist teaching continues to take place in the main school buildings so you will remain fully involved in the life of the school. However, you’ll be independent, the organisation of your day will be flexible and you will enjoy the freedom and challenge of taking responsibility for managing your own time.
