Joining the Senior School at 11+ is selective and involves written tests and an interview. We are part of the London 11+ Consortium and for 2024 entry, the Consortium schools will be using a bespoke, online entrance test. Our entrance test seeks to discover a child’s potential in creative and critical thinking, analysis, synthesis and problem-solving.

The test will be 100 minutes in length, with a break part-way through and can be taken in a student’s current school, or at one of the Consortium schools to which she has applied.

All applicants are interviewed to allow us to gather as much information as possible about each applicant, and we do all we can to put students at ease so they can perform to the best of their abilities on the day.

We also have a few places  still available for Year 1 for the next academic year (2024/2025).

If you are interested in applying for either of these year groups, please contact us as soon as possible.

Junior School

From time to time we have spaces within year groups 1, 2, 4 or 5. We do not generally admit into Year 6. As these vacancies arise, we will contact applicants on our waiting list and make arrangements for them to take the entrance test for that year group. We hold a number of assessment mornings during the school year.

Join our Occasional Places waiting list by registering an enquiry for an Occasional Vacancy  here. This ensures you will be automatically updated if a place becomes available.

Senior School

We sometimes have places available in Years 8, 9 or 10. Assessment for these year groups consists of written papers in Maths, English and a Modern Foreign Language (French, German, Spanish or Mandarin), an interview (subject to performance in the written papers) and a reference from the applicant’s current school. We only accept students into Year 10 at the start of the academic year and do not admit into Year 11.

Join our Occasional Places waiting list by registering an enquiry for an Occasional Vacancy  here. This ensures you will be automatically updated if a place becomes available.

Before your first day

Once you have accepted your occasional place, we aim to invite new students to come in for a day before they start, to spend the day with their Form group. They will be allocated buddies for the day and for their first couple of weeks in school.
