"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Alumna Leads Virtual Career Conversation with Sixth Form

The Sixth Form enjoyed a virtual career discussion this morning with alumna Marisa Charosky who manages the Artemis Charitable Foundation, a grant-making charity set up by Artemis Investment Management to give back to society. Prior to joining Artemis, Marisa was corporate partnerships manager at the international development charity Mercy Corps, responsible for developing the charity’s European corporate fundraising strategy. Marisa started her career at London PR agency Citigate Dewe Rogerson working in corporate PR for financial services companies.

Marisa talked to the Sixth Form about her career path so far, how she has moved between sectors and the importance of identifying transferable skills. This was followed by a very useful discussion about things Marisa wished she had known whilst at in Sixth Form at NHEHS, and how to have a fulfilling career by defining your version of what ‘success’ looks like.

Another alumna will be speaking to the Sixth Form on 19 November about her career experiences so far and sharing words of wisdom.
