Lower School Leaders Set Random Acts of Kindness Week Challenge!
To mark Random Acts of Kindness Week, our Lower School Leaders (Natasha, Ishani, Samara, Jemima, Morven, Aanya, Olivia and Isabella) have launched an exciting challenge with prizes up for grabs!
Scientific evidence has proven the positive effects of doing kind acts for others as well as receiving or even witnessing kindness. Which is why they would love everyone to get involved.
Teams have been created and over the next week and into half term, they are asking you to record all the wonderful acts of kindness you might do. Not called someone in a long time? They would love to hear from you. Surprise your family by making everyone a cup of tea, organise a surprise virtual birthday party for someone whose birthday is in lockdown or send a little gift to someone you haven’t talked to in a long time. Each small kind gesture goes a long way. The team and also individual recording the most acts will receive a special care package (contents, top secret!).
Listeners to the school’s radio station, Outside-In Radio will also have the opportunity to hear more from Jemima and Natasha in this Friday’s episode.
