"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Mme Spencer Bakes for GPs & Neighbours!

Acting Head of French Mme Spencer is a bit of a legend when it comes to cooking and baking at Notting Hill & Ealing, with her cakes and crepes delighting staff and pupils alike!

She wanted to support her local GP surgery in Chiswick to help keep the staff’s spirits up, so she has been baking for them every week.  Mme Spencer has also been busy baking for her neighbours too!

So far the surgery has received chocolate macarons, Cannelés, Madeleines, Krumchy (which is a kind of homemade twixt), cookies, Parmesan and poppy seeds biscuits and chocolate sables (like shortbread).

This week’s batch was Basil and Lime macarons from an Ottolenghi recipe, which Mme Spencer shared the recipe with her Year 11 class to try out too!
