Sixth Form Sleepover Fundraises for the Centre for Women’s Justice
To raise funds for the Centre for Women’s Justice charity, our Sixth Formers decided to hold the very first Sixth Form Sleepover at NHEHS last weekend. Here’s Year 12’s Emily and Hannah’s report on a fun-filled evening:
Spending a night in school has been on my bucket list for quite a while.
It seems weird to think that people would volunteer to spend longer in school than they have to but trust me – it was worth it! Between the most competitive sports game I think I’ve ever played in my life to the spread of pizzas across the main hall floor – the sixth form sleepover was abuzz with laughter, community and ridiculous photos. My friends and I, on a microwave popcorn high and having been inspired by some of the acts in Barnum, decided to build ourselves a human pyramid and a self-supporting circle (both of which resulted in us collapsing hysterically on the floor).
The sixth form sleepover was a great experience and I can’t wait for next year’s!
