Spring Tea Time Concert

The termly Tea Time Concert gives the opportunity for students to perform in an informal setting in preparation for their ABRSM grade exams.

We were treated to a lovely concert on Thursday with Anna impressing with a performance of ‘Girl with the flaxen hair’ by Debussy on the flute, a moving folksong, ‘Cockles and Mussels’ sung by Ruby and an impressive unaccompanied piece, ‘Changing times’ by Buckland performed by Lara.

Kikuko rounded the concert off with a dramatic performance of ‘Praeludium and Allegro’ by Pugnani-Kreisler.

The Year 7 piano trio, now known as the ‘HemiDemiZemi’s’ performed ‘Slavonic Dance in Em’ by Dvorak in preparation for their performance at next weeks South East Schools Chamber Music Competition.

Well done to all who performed and good luck in your forthcoming exams.
