We were treated to a lovely concert on Thursday with Anna impressing with a performance of ‘Girl with the flaxen hair’ by Debussy on the flute, a moving folksong, ‘Cockles and Mussels’ sung by Ruby and an impressive unaccompanied piece, ‘Changing times’ by Buckland performed by Lara.
Kikuko rounded the concert off with a dramatic performance of ‘Praeludium and Allegro’ by Pugnani-Kreisler.
The Year 7 piano trio, now known as the ‘HemiDemiZemi’s’ performed ‘Slavonic Dance in Em’ by Dvorak in preparation for their performance at next weeks South East Schools Chamber Music Competition.
