On a warm June evening this year’s NHEHS fashion show brought us a tropical theme and a jungle inspired runway.
In front of a large audience 11 teams showcased their designs for judges Becky Early, Professor of Fashion & Textiles, Antonia Kraskowski Fashion Editor of the Daily Express (and NHEHS alumna) and Lisa Ndukwe, Head of Design at active wear company Sweaty Betty.
The whole show from initial concept, set design, lighting and music through to front of house was put on by a team of Year 12 girls. They also picked The Brain Tumour Research Campaign as the cause to which all proceeds from the evening will go.
The design teams working around the tropical theme had come up with some stunning work which impressed both audience and judges and their models showed the pieces with the aplomb and style worthy of a catwalk at London Fashion Week.
